Sega Genesis – This was my first gaming console (We had the NES before but it was more my stepdad's than 'mine') and I have a lot of fond memories of playing a lot of amazing JRPGs. My favorite JRPG on Sega Genesis is Phantasy Star. I know Phantasy Star 4 is probably the most popular, but I think Phantasy Star 3 was my favorite.

Collectible item: A file of papers on top of the box to the right.
This puzzle has a 4x3 grid of squares with a small robot like device that will move to the square of your selection.
The robot will only move to location 3,1 away from it self (3 squares in one direction and 1 in another). You can pick which square it goes to although sometimes there is only one choice.
Each time it moves it will remove the square that it ends up on. It cannot move to an empty square and the puzzle will fail if you run out of moves before all the squares are removed. Choose carefully so that you make the last move with one square left to remove all of them. If you run out of possible moves tap the retry button on the lower right.
This puzzle will take practice and a few attempts. Once you remove all the pieces the next section of the puzzle will appear.
This section has a plate at the top that you can tap but will not open as there is a metal bar holding it in place. Tapping this does not let you remove it.
The solution to this is devious. You need to tap and drag the ? hint button on the top right and slide it to the left to knock and dislodge the bar. This will open the panel.
You will now see 5 buttons which will change colour as you tap them. There is a also a paper note with clues to the order of colours to set.
Read the clues and work out which colours to change each button 2 they are all different colours.
Solution: Orange, Blue, Red, White, Purple
When these are set you will see the message NO POWER on the display below. Tapping the buttons again will make the meter on the left fill up but you must tap in the right order to make it work.
Notice in the no power sign that the N and E are flashing but the others are static. these letters are O P O W R
Tap the buttons in the order Orange, Purple, Orange, White, Red
The power is now on and the padlock button can be tapped to complete this room. The door that opens takes us to Room 12.
There is also a secret exit. Tap the left wall to open a hidden door, you can go through this and discover another of the 6 possible endings. Another movie inspired deadly end. Try again, to return to the room and move on.

This quest starts off in Stormwind, by the warlock trainers beneath the slaughtered lamb inn in the mage section of town. |
He will tell you that you are now ready for his task, which is a quest for the ability to summon a succubus. To do this you require a token of pure love, as that attracts the succubus most. (They naturally want to taint and corrupt it) He does not know where to find such an item, and sends you off to find a 'Takar the Seer' in The Barrens, who can help you further. |
(Note: If you have visited the Wetlands, just take the gryphon there and skip some of the steps below) - Take the Deeprun Tram to Ironforge. Leave the city and follow the road to Loch Modan: |
| - From Loch Modan, take the road all the way north into the Dun Algaz gate. Follow the road through the mountains until you enter the Wetlands. |
| - Traverse the Wetlands until you enter Menethil Harbor. There are many crocolisks within aggro range of the road In Menethil, you can avoid them or kill em. In Menethil, take the boat to Auberdine. |
| - You find yourself in an elven outpost. Resume your journey heading south to the next zone, Ashenvale. There isn't much that would attack you on your way there. |
| - From Ashenvale, follow the road south to The Barrens. Stay on the road if you dont want to be bothered. |
-There is a large guarded gate at the entrance to The Barrens. Don't go through it, or you'll be killed. Instead, go east when you see the gate, and you will find a breached section of wall. You can go through here, but look out for the level 40 guard that patrols nearby. Travel south in The Barrens, go around the crossroads orcish outpost, south again until you hit the area highlighted in green. You will find a tree with a tent beside it, and the seer. Watch out for the nearby wildlife, theyre not known as friendly to strangers. Note: There are other, more dangerous ways to get to the barrens. You could take the boat to Theramore from the wetlands and follow the road and signposts to the barrens. Level 40+ monsters roam here, and though there arent very many aggroing monsters on your path, it can still be timeconsuming if you die here. Another option is going to Booty Bay, which is all the way on the southern tip of Azeroth (Follow the road south from duskwood), and taking a boat to Ratchet, a goblin outpost in the barrens. This is a long walk through lvl 30+ territory with many aggroing monsters along the road. Don't forget to pick up the gryphon flight path in Booty Bay. |
Part 2: Heartwood |
When you find The Seer, he tells you a tale about two lovers that fell together in battle.The event is re-enacted before you, displayed by ghostlike figures. Right where those two fell in battle, a tree grew. This tree is the symbol of undying love, and just the type of thing the succubus is attracted to. The Seer tells you to collect a piece of wood from the tree and bring it back to Gavin in Stormwind. The tree can be found in Ashenvale. Go back the way you came and enter Ashenvale again. |
- Back the way you came in the direction of Darkshore. You will find the tree in the purple area. (You can tell whether its the right tree by hovering your cursor over it, it will light up as a 'usable item') It is guarded by warlocks with Voidwalker pets, which are soloable. Clear to the tree and gather the wood from it. This may take several attempts if you are not a herbalist, so dont dispair if you fail the first time and keep trying. Once you have the wood, head back to the docks in Darkshore and travel to Stormwind, or use your hearthstone. |
Turn the heartwood in in Stormwind, you will now be able to summon the Succubus at the summoners circle and defeat her like you did the Voidwalker at level 10. You will receive the summoning scroll from Gakin. Congratulations, you are now the proud owner of an assspanking whipwielding demoness with some serious damage output, and a hell of a lot more hitpoints then that scrawny imp! < Written by Derugash > |
